ISCAN TEMPLE IN WHEELING & GOLDEN PALACE NEAR PITTSBURG

Wheeling is nearer to Pittsburg. We can get rooms at nominal rates and can stay there. In the morning the prasadam will be served in the premises of the temple which is tasty. If breakfast is needed it will also be available in the canteen. Dosa, Puri, Chana and different varieties of food stuffs are available at nominal rates. Only vegetarian food is available. Garlic and onion are not used in the dishes.Cow Ghee is also available at reasonable rate. In the temple surroundings the scenic beauty is there. We can watch peacocks, deers, and othere protected animals and different types of birds. In Other words itt is like a Bhootal Swargam. After this Golden palace can be seen which is being described as Taj Mahal of America. Of course I do not agree with that saying. But scenic beauty and sculptures are superb. From this place Pittsburg is very near. We can go by Car to see Lord Venkateswara in Pittsburg.

Golden Palace. The entry fee pinches us. It can be kept free. That's why we have taken some snaps outside the palace. The garden is superb. Different flowers are seen.

A JOURNEY TO DOWNTOWN CHICAGO, MICHIGAN LAKE AND NAVYPIER

DOUBLE DECKER METRA TRAIN (FROM HARWARD TO CHICAGO)

The double decker train looks like a bullet proof train in appearance. Inside the train,
seating will be comfortable. The coming station will be displayed and will be announced to allert the passengers. In India also double decker trains are introduced recently. My first experience is in Netherlands. I travelled in double decker train from Eindhoven to Amstardam and back during 2010. The train is colourful. The train track in USA is maintained very neat unlike in India. In Metra Trains dustbins are kept to keep trash. Here we travelled from the residence(Arlington Heights) to Mount Prospect Station, IL by car. There from to OTC Chicago by double *decker train. The ticket one way is $5. We also purchased Holiday pass(ticket). Went to Chicago down town 4 times so far to see the beauty of Chicago, Sears Towers, Navy Pier. We travelled in double decker bus(Open top) and also in water taxi.
